A New Era in Missile Defense Strategy for the US

The United States is reaffirming its commitment to protecting the nation against evolving threats. Under a new executive order from President Trump, the U.S. government is advancing the development and deployment of a next-generation missile defense shield to deter and defend against *ballistic*, *hypersonic*, and advanced *cruise missile* threats from both rogue actors and strategic adversaries.
This policy reflects the core principle of *peace through strength*. The Department of Defense has been tasked with accelerating space-based and non-kinetic defense technologies, securing critical infrastructure, and enhancing cooperation with U.S. allies and partners worldwide.
In a rapidly changing world, proactive innovation and strategic partnerships are essential to safeguarding our homeland and maintaining second-strike capability. But what exactly would an "American Iron Dome" look like? That remains to be revealed. Some experts argue that the U.S. doesn't need such a system. They may be right—or perhaps not.

The concept of an American Iron Dome draws inspiration from Israel's successful defense system. The goal is to create a layered system with multiple domes and interceptors for different altitudes and threats, combining both kinetic and cyber capabilities. Given this vision, I believe the Israeli defense industry will play a key role in shaping this new and innovative strategy.
